HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Book online to find an appointment date and time that works for you.

WHAT DOES AN APPOINTMENT INVOLVE?

You will have an hour long one on one appointment to browse and try on as many dresses as you’d like – feel free to bring along a few people who may be helpful in the process of choosing your dream gown as well. Although, I don’t recommend bringing too many people, as sometimes this can hinder rather than help the decision-making process. There is also limited space in the studio, so less is more in terms of ensuring everyone has a great view!

DO YOU OFFER CHAMPAGNE APPOINTMENTS?

Yes! I am very pleased to be able to offer a complimentary glass of bubbles for you and your entourage during your appointment to help give every bride the deluxe experience they deserve!

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?

I recommend keeping your party size to under 5 people - less is more when it comes to opinions, so try to bring people whose opinion you really value. Please note the studio is not a child friendly environment so I would ask that children please do not attend appointments where possible.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?

Payment options include card (1.75% + 30c fee applies for domestic card payments), direct debit, cash or cheque. Please note that full payment is required at the time of purchase.

WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

I am passionate about helping to find every bride that comes to my studio her dream wedding dress, while creating a pleasant experience for all involved. With beautiful, hand-picked gowns at a range of prices, warm and friendly service, and onsite parking, I hope that your visit to Little Bird Bridal is enjoyable every step of the way.

Do you hire gowns?

Little Bird Bridal currently does not offer a hiring option for any gowns in store - all items are available for purchase only.

I’m running out of time – is it too late to purchase a gown from Little Bird Bridal?

Absolutely not – as our gowns are all pre-loved and “off the rack”, you can take your gown home with you on the day! No waiting times or ordering required!

What if I love a gown, but it doesn’t fit me perfectly? Can it be altered?

Absolutely – I can recommend a dressmaker who you can see for alterations, or you are more than welcome to use someone of your choosing. If a gown is unable to be altered in some way, we will discuss this before purchasing.

Do you accept returns or refunds?

Please choose carefully as once you have made a purchase Little Bird Bridal does not accept returns, refunds or exchanges.

Do you sell items other than gowns?

Yes – I take veils, headpieces and a limited number of other accessories, however I am currently not consigning any mother of the bride or bridesmaid dresses.

Please contact me for further information.

How much can I sell my gown for?

Pre-loved wedding gowns usually sell for around 50-35% of the original selling price – this depends on various factors such as the age, style, designer, condition of the gown etc. At our initial appointment, we will go through these things in detail and agree on a selling price for your gown.

What kind of gowns do you accept?

Little Bird Bridal only accepts gowns in excellent condition that have been professionally dry cleaned. We take all sizes and styles of gowns, though gowns are required be less than 3 years old, professionally dry cleaned and in excellent condition.. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding your gown.

How long will it take to sell/what if it doesn’t sell quickly?

We will agree on a length of the consignment term at our initial appointment (usually 6 months to one year), and we will also agree on a price range in which to sell your gown. If your gown isn’t getting many enquiries, we may reduce the advertised price. Please note I will never sell your gown for a lower price than agreed without your consent.

How will you advertise my gown?

Little Bird Bridal will advertise both on and offline within the bridal community. A photo of the front and back of the gown (ideally in high resolution) should be provided to use to advertise the gown. If you would prefer that your face is not shown, please advise so I can arrange this. Little Bird Bridal may also commission photography of the gown in the studio and in other photo shoots to help with advertising.
